Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream. The outer shell is solid mozzarella while the inside contains stracciatella (mix of shreds of stretched fresh cheese and cream), giving it an unusually soft texture. Burrata is smooth on the outside, lustrous white in colour, and has a mild buttery taste. It is usually served fresh and at room temperature, and can be accompanied by cold cuts, pesto sauce, truffle honey and dried fruits. We highly recommend pairing it with Iberico ham or Prosciutto, topped with a dollop of Date and Fig Relish, or Fig chutney. Available in-stores only. While stocks last!
